At Mindful Therapies, we offer individual therapy for adults seeking support with life’s challenges, personal growth, or mental health concerns. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, or relationship changes, our clinicians provide a safe, supportive space to work toward your goals.

One-on-One Therapy Sessions to Address Your Unique Goals

We offer 1:1 therapy sessions with licensed Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, and Registered Counselling Therapists, tailored to your needs. Our team is trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-specific therapies such as EMDR and Prolonged Exposure.

Our clinicians are well-versed across many areas of adult mental health, such as:

Goal Setting & Behaviour Change

Our therapists are trained in Motivational Interviewing, a gold standard model for supporting what can be really challenging behaviours to change. We focus on helping you clarify your values, strengthen motivation, and make sustainable progress toward your goals.

Life Transitions

It is really common to struggle through some of life’s biggest decisions and transitions: moving, divorce, blending families, having a baby, relationships with family, school and loss are some examples. Our therapists are here to listen, understand and support you through life’s ups and downs.

03.

The Effects of Trauma

We have several therapists who have trauma-specific therapy training. These therapists are well versed in the many ways that trauma can affect your everyday life. Our goal is to reduce the symptoms that are causing distress so that you can continue to live and function in a healthy and positive way.

04.

Couples Therapy

We currently have therapists trained in the Gottman Couples Therapy model and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy. These model are centred on helping couples improve communication, improve attachment bonds, and identify ways that they may be sabotaging their relationship.

05.

Workplace Stress and Burnout

We work closely with a variety of workplace insurance providers (WCB, Manulife Insurance and others) to ensure you are able to recover from situations of workplace stress and burnout and return to work in a way that is healthy and sustainable for you. Workplace stress can take many forms and our clinicians are experienced and skilled in helping clients heal and feel ready to re-enter the workforce.
