Michelle Baird, MSW

Ms. Baird is a warm, compassionate, and experienced Clinical Social Worker who brings over two decades of dedication to helping adults navigate life’s challenges. Ms. Baird works with individuals 18 and older, offering support through life transitions, emotional difficulties, and personal struggles. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain, Ms. Baird provides a safe and supportive space to explore what’s going on and move toward personal growth and meaningful positive change. With a down-to-earth style and a deep commitment to helping others, Ms. Baird walks alongside her clients as they move toward healing, resilience, and greater self-understanding.

At the heart of Ms. Baird’s practice are the core values of Social Work—she is a thoughtful and attentive listener, non-judgmental, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique story. She believes in the inherent dignity and worth of all individuals and is committed to maintaining privacy and confidentiality throughout the therapeutic relationship. Clients often share that they feel truly seen and heard when working with Ms. Baird, which reflects her genuine presence and ability to connect in a caring and grounded way.

Ms. Baird offers evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs and goals. Her areas of focus include supporting people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, and disordered eating. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for non-underweight individuals (CBT-T), and CBT for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR). She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP). She holds a Master’s of Social Work from Dalhousie University and has spent the past 20+ years working in community mental health and addictions with Nova Scotia Health.

Jennifer Gracie, MSW

Ms. Gracie utilizes various evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. She has experience in client assessments, intervention, consultation and treatment planning. Her focus is on client strengths, offering respect, advocacy and empathy.

Ms. Gracie’s areas of expertise and clinical interest are in helping clients with behaviour change (e.g., addictions issues, compulsive gambling or spending), as well as stress, overwhelm and workplace burnout.

Ms. Gracie, MSW is a Clinical Social Worker, licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers. She completed her Master’s Degree from University of New England and has over 15 years’ experience providing services to adults within hospital and community mental health settings.

Danielle Harris, MSW

Danielle Harris is a Clinical Social Worker who has always had a passion for helping others. She offers a welcoming and accepting space for all individuals; one in which a sense of safety and trust can be fostered. Danielle views therapy as a partnership, drawing from individual strengths and experiences, while offering feedback and practical tools to manage mental health difficulties. She is authentic, non-judgmental and inviting of discussions about any challenges her clients might be facing. She has noticed the value in using each individual session as an opportunity to inspire adjustment and growth; and she has observed the progress that can happen from gently guiding clients through their own personal recovery journey.

Danielle completed her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in Health and Mental Health. She is registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers and has been providing mental health and addiction therapy since 2011. She has training and education in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Structured Relapse Prevention and Motivational Interviewing.

Adrienne Buckland, MSW, RSW

Ms. Buckland (she/her) is a highly trained and experienced Clinical Social Worker. She is especially passionate about working with folks in the perinatal period, which includes pregnancy, post-partum, and the early years of parenting. Ms. Buckland has both clinical training and lived experience in navigating the perinatal period, and genuinely grasps the challenges of this time where folks are often bombarded with information and advice from the internet, social media, healthcare systems, family members, and friends; much of which can feel more overwhelming and triggering than helpful.

Ms. Buckland also has extensive expertise in working with trauma, with a specialized focus on attachment trauma, sexualized violence, gender-based violence, relational trauma, familial trauma, generational trauma, systems trauma, and the long-term impacts of oppression and marginalization. Ms. Buckland maintains a lens that is anti-oppressive, feminist, relational, and grounded in neuroscience to support folks on their healing journey.

Ms. Buckland is committed to building therapeutic relationships centered on compassion, care, and collaboration, and fosters a presence that is warm, non-judgemental, safe, and inviting. Adrienne is committed to ensuring that the therapeutic journey feels fitting for each client, and will tailor her practices accordingly. She is eager to provide therapeutic support, resource navigation, and advocacy to folks from all walks of live, and invites and celebrates diversity of lived experiences.

Along with her graduate work, Ms. Buckland has post-graduate training in perinatal mental health, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and structural dissociation. She likes to use an eclectic approach to therapy and also brings in aspects of social justice work, narrative-informed techniques, CBT and DBT-based strategies, mindfulness and meditation practices, and creative approaches to the therapeutic journey. Ms. Buckland is a strong feminist, queer ally, and anti-oppressive practitioner who is always open to meaningful conversation and feedback from clients.
